Emotive Faces

Kindergartners made emotive faces today! After drawing 9 different colored circles, we came up with different faces that show 9 different emotions!!!

Color Color Color!

The Kindergarteners were able to show Mrs. Schaa their stuff the past 2 weeks!

First we read a book called, "Mouse Paint." We talked about Primary and Seconday colors.

We EVEN got out the color paddles and made the colors by putting two paddles together!

Next, we colored our cubes and then found things in magazines and glued them on the correct color of our cubes!!

We read the book, The Cat and the Bird: A Children's BookInspired by Paul Klee, then we looked at his painting and made our own using oil pastels! Integrating Literature and Art!
